Christine Lahti is an American film and stage actress.

One of her early breaks was landing a her first equity role in Harry Chapin's 1976 futuristic musical The Zinger. In a 1986 interview Lahti describes her career before The Zinger as filled with Off-Off-Broadway productions in theaters "that had rats in the dressing room and cockroaches running across the stage." She goes on to mention "she shared dressing-room space with Beverly DiAngelo and Pat Benatar, long before any of them had hit it big."[1]
