There are 5 different humanitarian awards named in honor of Harry Chapin.
Three of these awards recognize national and international achievements:
- ASCAP Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award by Why Hunger.
- NARM Harry Chapin Memorial Humanitarian Award by National Association of Recording Merchandisers.
- Harry Chapin Award for Contributions to Humanity by the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA)
